BUILDING OUR FUTURE
SECURING OUR LEGACY

In 2020, Project Morry celebrates the successes and accomplishments of more than 350 alumni, 400 current students, and 25 years of transforming lives.

PROJECT MORRY EMPOWERS YOUNG PEOPLE FROM UNDER-RESOURCED COMMUNITIES TO CREATE A POSITIVE FUTURE.

From its beginnings as a summer camp in 1995, Project Morry is now a robust nine-year program that supports the academic and life success of 400 young people year-round, free of charge to participating youth and families. Our commitment to each child closes the opportunity gap through a combination of academic enrichment and support, leadership development, an exceptional summer camp experience, and one-on-one mentoring.

When children first come to Project Morry in 4th grade, they arrive with tremendous potential and motivation but without the opportunities needed to reach their dreams and goals. 96% of students qualify for free or reduced price lunch. High school graduation rates in their communities are as low as 60%. College- and the economic mobility it makes possible- is not always within reach. Nationally only 29% of students from low-income backgrounds attend college and of those, only 9% graduate.

Project Morry transforms lives. We level the playing field by improving access to resources, educational experiences, and 9 years of support for children and families. Project Morry is committed to creating long-term change that empowers youth to overcome life challenges, succeed academically and in their careers, and become engaged citizens in their communities.

“They’ve opened doors for me and showed me that college is an option. That school is always important. And that I can fulfill my dreams one day.”
