Winaukee x London Marathon!

Dear Parents,

As some of you may already know, mainly because it’s all Rupert has talked about since July, he will be running the TCS London Marathon on April 27th! Not only is this set to be the largest marathon in history, but it’s also expected to be the biggest fundraising day in the UK, with last year’s race raising an incredible £73 million for charitable causes.

With camp just around the corner, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to kickstart Winaukee’s 2025 Project Morry event. We are asking you to support Project Morry by sponsoring a mile (or two!) of Rupert’s marathon journey. In return, not only will you get that amazing feel-good feeling of helping others, but you’ll also be part of such a special and impactful day.

And it’s not just Rupert! Harvey Ellis will also be taking on the Manchester Marathon on the same day! You can be part of this with us by supporting such a great cause.

On marathon day, Squibbs will be running Winaukee’s social media accounts, shouting out our incredible sponsors and cheering Rupert on every step of the way while keeping you all up to date on how Rupert is doing! 

Project Morry is a nonprofit youth development organization dedicated to empowering young people through a unique combination of exceptional summer camp experiences, year-round academic enrichment, and one-on-one mentoring. For over two decades, Project Morry has transformed the lives of at-risk youth. Thanks to your generous support, 400 young people from under-resourced communities in New York City, Westchester, Long Island, and Connecticut will benefit from this nationally recognized program.
