The Jenkins family and Camp Cobbossee celebrate the life of Edmund Jenkins
It is with very heavy hearts that Camp Cobbossee for Boys learned of Edmund Jenkins' unexpected passing last week. Edmund was a beloved young man who started his Cobbossee story in 2016 at the age of 8 as a third-grader. From the instant his sneakers touched Cobbossee grass, Edmund lit up and then his light illuminated Cobbossee. His wit, jokes and presence stole the show at every skit he was ever in. They also derailed many a serious bunk meeting in the best way. Edmund made being at Cobbossee more fun, full stop. His magnetism brought his bunk closer together. His kindness made younger boys feel at home when they were far from home. He will be missed so very much.
The Jenkins family have asked interested parties to consider making donations in Edmund's honor to the not-for-profit camp and youth development program that Edmund and hundreds of boys at Camp Cobbossee have supported each year. This page is for that purpose. You can learn more about Project Morry here and donate using the “Donate Online” button above.
