Latest from Project Morry
In 2020, Project Morry celebrates the successes and accomplishments of more than 350 alumni, 400 current students, and 25 years of transforming lives.
On November 17, 2020, the Project Morry community will come together virtually to celebrate 25 years of empowering young people from under-resourced communities to create positive futures and enact long term change. Project Morry is an anti-racist organization, committed to equity for black and brown lives, and against all forms of systemic racism.
From our beginnings as a summer camp in 1995, Project Morry is now a robust nine-year program that supports the academic and life success of 400 young people year-round. Our commitment to each child closes the opportunity gap through a combination of academic enrichment and support, leadership development, and an exceptional summer camp experience.
Join us on November 17, 2020 to celebrate the achievements of our incredible students and families. We are thrilled to honor the Stein family, board members and founders of Project Morry, with the Founders Award as well as the Pioneers, Project Morry’s alumni from the first class of graduates, with the Morry Award.
This year’s event will be virtual. Going virtual will keep our community safe while allowing us to share memories of our first 25 years, excitement about our present, and anticipation for our future!
The Benefit is the cornerstone of our annual fundraising efforts, raising up to 30% of our annual operating budget. All event proceeds directly support Project Morry’s year-round programming.
We hope you will join us from the comfort of your own home on your computer, tablet, or phone on November 17th!
